TNT Express is an international courier delivery company, operating in 61 countries, it delivers documents, parcels and freight to over 220 countries worldwide. Its major competitors include United Parcel Service (UPS) and DHL Express. TNT was acquired by competitor FedEx in 2015. Shortly after World War II, Australian Ken Thomas set up Thomas Nationwide Transport (TNT) with a single truck in Sydney. By the 1980s the company was termed “the second biggest transport empire in the world, operating by road, rail, sea, and air”. TNT also provides an economy express service, providing great prices for items over 10kg, it is one of the cheap international courier services available. TNT also provide import and export services.
